Unlike the expository, the writer's opinion is the essence of the persuasive essay. The aim of this writing is to persuade the readers to agree and acknowledge the authors' ideas. A descriptive essay is a medium for a writer to describe something (person, place, object), hence the name. A narrative essay is writing that tells the readers about an event from beginning to ending. It has characters, a plot and a setting of place and time.
