Hence, for some people determining the color of their house is essential, as they want to feel comfortable in their own home. Colors also play a crucial role in terms of fashion or appearance. A combination of colors in clothing, accessories, and make-up colors can elevate someone's look. Based on psychology, we can also relate colors to our memories. For example, looking color emerald green reminds us of our dress on our 7th birthday. Colors also have the ability as a communication tool or to deliver messages. For example, we know that in traffic lamps, red means stop, yellow means to get ready, and green is the "go" sign.

Sir Isaac Newton was the first person to discover colors from the spectrum of lights in the 17th century. At that time, people perceived colors as a mix of dark and light, and Newton saw flaws in this theory. Through his experiments with a prism, he discovers that white light consists of various colors. Then he mapped those colors on the wheel, known as ROY G BIV. This discovery led the world to reveal more colors.
