I enjoy mathematics the most in school because I find it fascinating to solve problems using logical reasoning and equations.

Can you tell me about a book that you recently read?

I recently read "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah, a historical fiction novel set during World War II in Nazi-occupied France. The story follows two sisters who display remarkable courage and resilience as they navigate the challenges of love, sacrifice, and survival during the war. The novel is both heart-wrenching and beautifully written, providing a powerful depiction of the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

What is your favorite activity to do during recess?

My favorite activity to do during recess is playing basketball. I enjoy the physical activity, the team aspect of the game, and the competitive nature of it. It's a great way to have fun and stay active during break time.

What is something new that you have learned recently in class?

Recently in class, I learned about the concept of cognitive dissonance, which is the psychological discomfort a person feels when holding conflicting beliefs or values. This can lead individuals to try to reduce this discomfort by altering their beliefs or behaviors, which has significant implications for understanding decision-making and behavior change.

Can you describe a project or assignment that you are proud of?

One project that I am particularly proud of is when I led a team to create a community outreach program aimed at promoting digital literacy among underprivileged youth. We organized workshops, provided resources, and partnered with local schools to offer hands-on training in technology skills. Seeing the positive impact this project had on empowering young individuals with valuable skills and knowledge was truly rewarding and highlighted the importance of leveraging technology for social good.

What is your favorite part about being a student?

My favorite part about being a student is the opportunity to learn and grow intellectually, discover new interests, and challenge myself to think in different ways. It's a time where I can explore new subjects, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop critical thinking skills that will benefit me throughout my life.

Can you explain a problem or challenge you have faced in school and how you overcame it?

One challenge I faced in school was struggling to manage my time effectively to balance multiple extracurricular activities and academic responsibilities. To overcome this, I started using a planner to organize my tasks and deadlines, prioritizing tasks based on due dates and importance. Additionally, I learned to set aside dedicated study periods and limit distractions to maximize productivity. By implementing these strategies and learning to advocate for myself by seeking help from teachers and peers when needed, I was able to improve my time management skills and successfully navigate through my school workload.

Can you describe a time when you worked together with your classmates on a project?

Certainly! I remember a time in college when my classmates and I collaborated on a group project for our psychology course. We divided the tasks based on each person's strengths and skills, had regular meetings to discuss our progress, and supported each other throughout the process. By working together effectively, we were able to create a comprehensive project that impressed our professor and allowed us to achieve a high grade. The experience taught me the importance of communication, cooperation, and leveraging the strengths of each team member to achieve a common goal.

What is a skill or talent that you have that helps you in school?

One skill that helps me in school is my organization. I am able to keep track of assignments, deadlines, and schedules effectively, which allows me to prioritize tasks and manage my time efficiently. This skill helps me stay on top of my responsibilities and maintain a sense of control and focus in my academic endeavors.

Can you share a dream or goal that you have for your future?

One dream I have for my future is to inspire and positively impact as many people as possible through my work, whether that be through writing, speaking, or creating helpful content.
